Man, woman found hanging from electric pole in Noida

A man and a woman were found hanging from an electric pole under mysterious circumstances here this morning.

The couple, whose identity is yet to be established, were found hanging from the pole in Sector 15 of Noida around 7 am, Superintendent of Police Ashok Tripati told reporters.

"We have sent the body for post mortem. We can say whether the incident was a suicide or murder only after the post mortem examination," Tripati said.

Police sources said there were no injury marks of the victims' bodies, who looked like to be in the age group of 26-27 years.

Tripati said 'Pratap Katiyal' and 'Ashok Colony' written on the wrist of the man but they were yet to verify the name and the area.
