A man was on Thursday arrested for allegedly stabbing his estranged wife to death in the premises of a court in Hojai town in central Assam's Nagaon district.
The man, identified as Bhubhon Chandra Das, stabbed his wife, who was waiting in a tea stall in the compound of the Judicial Magistrate Court for hearing of her divorce case, police said.
Das was caught by bystanders and handed over to police, they said, adding his wife's body has been sent for post-mortem.
