Man murdered by his two brothers over land dispute in Punjab

A man was done to death using sharp-edged weapons allegedly by his two brothers
and a nephew, all residents of Khosa Pando village here last evening, police said today.
   
Sohan Singh was attacked by sharp-edged weapons by his brothers-Karamjit Singh Malkiat Singh and by the victim's nephew Lovi and one accomplice Major Singh.
   
A dispute over a piece of land was stated to be the provocation behind the gruesome crime, police said.
  
The accused managed to escape before the police arrived. A case under various sections of the IPC has been registered against the four accused.
