A man today hacked to death his wife, two daughters, sister-in-law and injured his son allegedly over a family tiff in Khutaar area, police said in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
Raju Yadav, 40, hacked his wife Kanti, 35, daughters Shilpi, 15, and Shinni, 10, and sister-in-law Shanti, 40, this morning. His son Gopi Krishna, 11, also received injuries in the attack in Dhakia Lahia village, they said.
Police said that Raju had a tiff with his family members over some issue last night.
"Raju had been arrested and has admitted to his crime," district magistrate Ajay Chauhan said.
