Man attempts suicide at Delhi metro station, escapes with injuries

A 25-year-old man on Monday allegedly tried to commit suicide by jumping before a Delhi metro train at the Chandni Chowk station this evening.

The man, whose identity has not been ascertained yet, jumped before the train at the station at 5.30pm this evening, but escaped with injuries as an alert driver applied brakes immediately.

The youth was then taken to a hospital, sources said, adding that services were not affected.
