Maharashtra governor visits freedom fighter's house

Maharashtra governor, K Sankaranarayanan, paid a courtesy call on freedom fighter and a former congress leader, V Parukutty Amma, at her residence here, yesterday.

The governor was visiting the former congress leaders house after a gap of several years, sources said. 

She had also enquired about the states in which Sankaranarayanan had functioned as the governor previously,
sources said.

The governor, who was spent around 30 minutes was accompanied by Kozhikode District Congress Committee, president, KC Abu and Youth Congress leader Ramesh Nabiyath.
