The winter session of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly beginning here tomorrow is likely to be stormy with the main opposition Congress gearing up to corner the ruling BJP over former RSS chief KS Sudarshan's remarks against Sonia Gandhi.

"Though we have not yet finalised our strategy, we are going to take to the task the ruling BJP over Sudarshan's derogatory remarks against our leader Sonia Gandhi some time back in Bhopal," a Congress MLA said today.

A total of nine sittings would take place during the 11-day long eighth session of the 13th Vidhan Sabha.

The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has not yet chosen the leader of opposition, the post which fell vacant after the death of Jamuna Devi in late September.

The CLP had asked the Congress high command to select its leader, but no decision has been taken yet. It appears that deputy leader of opposition in the assembly Rakesh Singh Chaturvedi would lead the opposition in the session.
