M Karunanidhi congratulates ISRO scientists on PSLV-C15 launch

Congratulating Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) scientists for successfully placing the Cartosat 2B and four other satellites in orbit, Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi today said the achievement was testimony to their hard work.

In an official release in Chennai, he said the "hard work" of Indian space scientists had put the country in the global map and that their achievement today was testimony to their prowess.

"I extend my greetings to the scientists on behalf of the people of Tamil Nadu and myself," he said.

The PSLV-C15, carrying five satellites, including India's CARTOSAT-2B was successfully placed in orbit today.
