One jumps in front of running train...
A lovelorn couple committed suicide in Viramgam town early on Wednesday morning by jumping in front of a running train. Their families allegedly tormented them and this made them take the extreme step. The duo left a note behind stating that no one is to be blamed for the suicide.

Viramgam police identified the pair as Jayanti Raval, 24, and Kali Thakore, 27, residents of Haripur and Bhujiapur. Cops said Jayanti was unmarried whereas Kali was married with two children.

According to the police, two suicide notes were found from Jayanti's pocket in which he had written some Urdu poems explaining his love for Kali. The notes also stated that they had sworn to live or die together but their families didn't approve of their relationship.

Strangely, cops didn't investigate further once they learnt about the suicide notes. Investigating officer Ishwar Makwana said the reason behind the extreme step was because their families disapproved of their relationship.

...another found dead on railway track
Two bodies were found on the railway track near Gheratpur in Vatva on Wednesday morning.

The bodies were later identified as that of Jayanti Thakore, 40, and Hema Thakore, 35, both residents of Vivekanandnagar in Hathijan.

A railway worker on duty found the bodies on the track in the morning. He informed his superiors who in turn told the railway police. The cops found some photographs on the bodies and that is how they identified the victims. It is believed that the two committed suicide by jumping in front of a train.

Initial investigations by the railway police found that Jayanti was married to two women. His first wife was one Jyotsana and he had three children with her. He later married Hema on August 2 this year after the two fell in love with each other. Both the wives used to live with Jayanti and his three children.

Police believe that it was not a harmonious co-existence and constant fights would take place in the house. This must have driven Jayanti and Hema to commit suicide.

The railway police are now investigating the matter.
