AIADMK tear statement by SM Krishna on Sri Lanka Tamils issue

AIADMK members on Wednesday staged a walk-out from Rajya Sabha after tearing copy of statement made by SM Krishna on Sri Lankan Tamils issue.

India is trying to achieve forward-looking outcome based on reconciliation and accountability, said the government on UNHRC resolution on Sri Lanka.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister PK Bansal said that the government will bring Lokpal Bill for discussion in Rajya Sabha in first part of current session.

BJP leader Arun Jaitley on Wednesday demanded for the debate on Lokpal Bill to continue saying that the government was silent on its intent to introduce Lokpal.

Samajwadi Party also demanded a debate on Lokpal Bill.
