LK Advani rakes up Ayodhya issue

Senior BJP leader LK Advani rather predictably came up with the Ayodhya temple strain during his election campaign on Saturday. Advani visited Ayodhya and took a darshan of the makeshift Ramlala temple there.

At his public meeting in Faizabad, he said the Temple should be constructed at the very spot where the Ramlala statue had been placed in the temporary temple at present.

“I will consider my career fulfiled only when I see a splendid Ram temple at the very place where the Ramlala statue stands today,” he said. “There are only three ways the Ram temple can be constructed. Either there should be a BJP government at the Centre or the court should pass its clear ruling or Hindus and Muslims should thrash out a solution to the dispute,” Advani said.
