Addressing a CPI sponsored anti-liquor rally the P Narayana said that the liquor addiction was ruining lives of poor in the state.

Alleging that Congress-led state government was being controlled by liquor mafia, CPI's Andhra Pradesh state general secretary P Narayana today vowed to introduce prohibition.
Addressing a CPI sponsored anti-liquor rally, the CPI leader said that the liquor addiction was ruining lives of poor in the state.
"Even in villages where drinking water is not available, liquor shops greet visitors with ample stock", he observed.
The rally concluded at collectoarte with the submission of memorandum to the district collector pleading for prohibition.
