Law will take its course: BJP clarifies Kushwaha's induction

The BJP on Friday sought to defend induction of tainted minister Babu Singh Kushwaha.

Party spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman said that law will take its course.

"Those opposing Kushwaha have vested interests," she said.

On attacks by Congress, she said, "Congress should look at the central government first before criticising BJP."

On rumours of Uma Bharti's opposition to the decision she said that there was no question of Bharti being upset.
