Now after the bike gang, autorickshaw gang and baniyan gang the newest member to debut in the police's FIR is the paying guest gang. Cops happened to meet one of the members of this gang following a theft complaint.

And if Satellite police officials are to be believed girls are also part of this gang, which specialises in befriending people and then escaping with their valuables. The satellite police nabbed one Hemanjali Chiteria, 20, while she was trying to escape with cash and valuables belonging to a friend of hers.

Sources said that Chiteria was staying as a paying guest in Sakamba tower in Memnagar for the past one month. Chiteria befriended one Kinjal Kalal, a resident of Falgun tenament in Jodhpur, who is also the complainant in the case.

Chiteria used to share her room with three other girls. One day, she called up Kalal and told her that she was alone in her apartment as her roommates had gone away. Chiteria then asked Kalal if she could stay over at the latter's house as she was alone and afraid. When Kalal agreed the accused moved to her place on January 7.  That very night she stole Kalal's cash and jewellery totalling around Rs2.5 lakh from her locker and left.

When Kalal came to know of it she called up Chiteria and asked her to come to Iskcon bus stand for some work. There police nabbed her.
