Kashmir Valley peaceful, curfew in place

The situation in curfew-bound Kashmir remained peaceful today with no untoward incident reported from any part of the Valley.

There is no report of violation of curfew from any part of the Valley till midday, police said.

Curfew was imposed last week in the wake of violent protests in which 32 people have been killed and several others, including security men, injured.

Police and paramilitary forces are patrolling the streets to enforce the curfew.
