Karnataka minister escapes unhurt in mishap

The mishap was caused when the pilot car bumped into another private vehicle, the driver of which applied sudden brakes, resulting into Gowda's car hitting the pilot vehicle.

Karnataka minister for medical education Ramachandra Gowda today escaped unhurt after his car hit the pilot vehicle at Maddur town near here, police said today.

The mishap was caused when the pilot car bumped into another private vehicle, the driver of which applied sudden brakes, resulting into Gowda's car hitting the pilot vehicle, they said.

Gowda, who was on his way to Mysore to attend a function, proceeded in another vehicle, officials added.
