A few more highly-decomposed body parts, believed to be that of a Delhi-based wannabe film producer, were found in Chiplun in Ratnagiri district on Monday, nearly two months after he was allegedly kidnapped by a 25-year-old model-cum-actress and her three gangster associates, police said.

"Some more body parts, believed to be that of Karankumar Kakkad (wannabe film producer), were found in a bag at Kumbharli Ghat near Chiplun. These appeared to be below the chest body parts. The remains were sent for DNA analysis," a senior police official said.

Kakkad (28), who wanted to try his luck in the film industry, was abducted on March 5, allegedly by actress Simran Sood, Vijay Palande, Dhananjay Shinde and Manoj Gajkosh-- all are behind bars now.

Initially, a missing person's case was registered in Amboli police station, following a complaint by Kakkad's brother Aneesh. However, it was later changed to an abduction case after the arrest of Sood on April 12.

Before Sood's arrest, her three aides, who are former associates of gangster Santosh Shetty, were held in a senior citizen Arunkumar Tikku's murder case. Later, the gangsters' role surfaced in the crime.

Investigators have also found blood stains in the water pipelines in the flat of Oberoi Springs, where Kakkad stayed on rent, police said adding that, "These blood stains stand as evidence to prove that Kakkad was killed at his flat before being chopped to pieces, which were subsequently taken to Chiplun in a four-wheeler and dumped."

A fortnight ago, police had found a severed head and upper portion of the body, believed to be that of Kakkad's.
