Kadapa bypoll: Jaganmoan Reddy leads by 80,000 votes

YSR Congress party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy was leading by about 80,000 votes after the completion of four rounds of counting in the bypolls to high-profile Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency in Andhra Pradesh.

Jagan was leading over his nearest Congress rival DL Ravindra Reddy, official sources said.

In Pulivendula assembly constituency, Jagan's mother Vijayalakshmi was leading by about 20,000 votes over her brother-in-law and Congress nominee YS Vivekananda Reddy after the completion of fifth round of counting.

Counting of votes for the bye-elections to Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh commenced here this morning amid tight security.

Elaborate arrangements were made for the counting in the seats from where Jagan and his mother Vijayalakshmi, are seeking re-election after quitting Congress.
