Continuing his attack on IUML leader PK Kunhalikutty, his relative KA Rauf, who levelled allegations against him on the ice cream parlour sex racket case, today challenged him to reveal how he was 'blackmailed' and what benefit he (Rauf) had gained by doing so.

Speaking to reporters here, he wanted Kunhalikutty to clarify on the matter.

Kunhalikutty had earlier alleged that he faced a threat to his life from Rauf and he had sought to blackmail him.

The case pertains to allegations of using an ice cream parlour in Kozhikode as a cover for luring girls into a sex racket.

On the allegation that he had conspired with chief minister's office in the ice cream parlour sex scandal case, Rauf said "if it was proved at least for once, I will accept what you say."

Rauf had earlier alleged that there had been attempts to sabotage the case to avoid Kunhalikutty getting listed as an accused in it.

Though Kunhalikutty had never been made an accused in the case, he had to resign as industries minister in the then UDF government in 2005 after one of the alleged victims dragged his name into the scam.

The case was later dismissed by the court for want of evidence against the accused in the case.
