Two more women died on Sunday following child birth after they were allegedly administered contaminated intravenous fluids in government hospitals in Jodhpur, taking the toll in the tragedy to 15.

Morki Devi (20) of Osian near Jodhpur had give birth to a stillborn baby in Umaid Hospital a day after she was admitted there. She was kept in the ICU following excessive bleeding and was shifted to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital four days back.

Delu (22) from Nepal, who was living in Jodhpur with her husband, had given birth to a healthy baby in Umaid Hospital on February 21.

On February 236, she was shifted to the ICU of MG Hospital following excessive bleeding.

Superintendent of MG Hospital, Arvind Mathur said that she was brought here in a state of multiple organ failure and was on a ventilator.

"But she could not be saved and succumbed this morning," he said.

Two more women, who have been undergoing treatment in the MG hospital, are stated to be in serious condition.
