Ties between NDA allies - JD(U) and BJP are back to normal after the breakfast meeting between Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the saffron party leaders on Sunday, JD(U) state unit President Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said today.

"Discussions between the leaders of the NDA coalitions were held in a cordial atmosphere ... Everything is fine between the two coalition parties," he told reporters here.

The two parties deliberated on a joint plan to contest the coming assembly polls, he said.

On whether Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi figured in the meeting, the first in two months between Kumar and BJP leaders, Chaudhary said no individual names were discussed.

The breakfast meeting was held between Kumar and BJP leaders led by its chief strategist Arun Jaitley at the state unit BJP President C P Thakur's residence.

Chaudhary said JD(U) will hold political meetings in all 38 districts of Bihar from July 24 to August 4 to mobilise its workers and supporters.

Party national president Sharad Yadav and Nitish Kumar will attend a few of them to enthuse its rank and file ahead of the polls.
