The judicial custody of journalist Syed Mohammed Ahmad Kazmi, arrested for his alleged role in the February 13 bomb attack on an Israeli diplomat's car here, was on Saturday extended till April 21.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Smita Garg extended the judicial custody.

Meanwhile, Kazmi's counsel termed as "mechanical" the reply of Delhi Police on his application seeking names of persons who had interrogated him while he was in the custody of the agency.

The Delhi Police maintained only the special team entrusted with the case have interrogated him while Kazmi's counsel have been insisting on them to bring on record the names of all the agencies and officials who have questioned him in police custody.

Kazmi had earlier alleged "foreign agencies like Mossad were also interrogating him even as his custody was given to Delhi Police."

The court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate had then directed the police not to permit other investigating agencies to interrogate him but had imposed no bar on sharing information with other agencies.

Amidst allegations of custodial harassment, Kazmi was sent in judicial remand two days before his police custody was to expire on March 27.

Kazmi, who claims to have been writing for an Iranian publication, was picked up by the Special Cell of Delhi Police after the probe showed he had been in touch with a suspect who is believed to have stuck the magnetic bomb on Israeli diplomat Tal Yehoshua's car on February 13.

Yehoshua and an Indian driver of the Embassy vehicle were among the four people injured in the blast.
