Hazare supporters manhandled: Case registered against attackers

A case was tonight against registered against unnamed persons in connection with the attack on supporters of Anna Hazare at Patiala House court complex in Delhi.

Some unknown persons had beaten up Hazare's supporters, including an elderly man who was punched and kicked in the face by a youth.

A senior police officer said a case of rioting and causing hurt has been registered on a complaint filed by Mohd Shoufi who was injured in the attack.

However, no one was arrested in the incident.
