Haryana govt plans to set up 3 aviation hubs

The Haryana government plans to set up three general aviation and two helicopter hubs in the state on public-private partnership basis.

The general aviation hubs are likely to established at Hisar, Karnal and Bhiwani, an official spokesperson said.

These are meant for aircraft maintenance and fixed base operation facilities, specifically catering to light and medium aircraft and choppers, he said.

The two integrated helicopter hubs are proposed to be set up at Pinjore and Narnaul, the spokesperson said.

The government has invited private partners through international bidding to set up the proposed facilities as per eligible criteria, he said.
