Gujarat HC closed from October 24 to Novenber 6

Friday was the last working day for the state's courts before the 10-day Diwali vacation.

The magistrate courts and the sessions court will be closed for 10 days from tomorrow and will reopen on November 2. However, the Gujarat high court will be on vacation from October 24 to November 6

. Though all the courts will be closed for the vacation, one judge in every court will be on duty during the holiday to hear emergency cases. Several cases, which may have been heard if it were not for the Diwali vacation, will now be heard after the vacation. The appointment of Lok Ayukta is one such case which will now be heard after the Diwali vacation.
