Social activist Anna Hazare today alleged that the government was deliberately neglecting the Lokpal Bill.
Hazare was in Aurangabad to talk about the bill, at a programme organised by Janhit Pratishthan.
Hazare alleged that though anti-corruption laws were in place, they were not being implemented effectively.
"Due to Right To Information Act, many cases of corruption came to light, but the government has limited scope of inquiry, and is not acting against culprits," Hazare said.
"The government is afraid if the Lokpal bill is passed, it may put its survival in jeopardy," he added.
