Government pleader Nayan Sukhadwala opposed the bail plea of the alleged Naxalites during a hearing at the district and sessions court on Monday.

Sukhadwala produced strong proof against those arrested and alleged that they were involved in anti-state and anti-national activities. The next hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.

In his 45-page bail plea Advocate Kirit Panwala demanded the release of all the alleged Naxalites. Challenging the plea, Sukhadwala submitted a 20-page petition before the judge on Monday.

In his petition, Shukadwala has stated that all those arrested were planning an operation against the state and Centre since a long time, and had been organising meetings till 2010.

They also prepared and maintained articles and writings that promoted the red brigade.

He also challenged the defence lawyer's claims that these alleged Naxalites' activities were for tribal rights.

He said that enough proof is available to show that the entire activity was planned, framed to create trouble for the elected government and to start a gory war.

Sukhadwala's petition also stated that three meetings were held in Mumbai, which were attended by a majority of these alleged naxalites arrested by the Gujarat police.

He named Avinash Kulkarni, Vishwanath and Satyam Rao and  said that an 'agenda book', prepared especially for spreading naxalism, has been traced out
