‘Girls were brought on 15-day package’

The kingpin of the sex racket busted by the Crime branch in Nirant Park Bungalows near Sur Dhara Circle in Thaltej on Sunday, offered a package of 15 days and paid Rs30,000 to victim girls brought from cities like Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi.

The couple, Binoli Rai alias Khushi and Montusingh Rai, had an inter-state network of agents, which provided them with girls from the metro cities of the country. The network was so well-organised that they had recruited a person for pick-up and dropping of these girls to air port. “The person was paid Rs3,000 per month,” a police source said.

The girls were brought to the city by the network of agents for a package of Rs1 lakh for 15 days, out of which Rs30,000 was paid to the girl while Rs70,000 was paid to the agents in the entire chain.

“Each girl used to easily earn Rs3 lakh in 15 days for the couple, who had a strong network of customers in the city,” a police source said. “On an average, each girl was told to cater to at least four customers per day and the couple used to get money for their services,” the police source said.

The Crime branch arrested the couple on Sunday. Sources also said that the duo were used to a lavish lifestyle and had changed three bungalows.

Khushi had started a beauty parlour in 2005 near Vijay crossroads as initiation of flesh trade racket. The racket actually took off after she met Rai with whom she fell in love. The duo got married and started full-fledged flesh trade racket two years back
