Girl found murdered on New Year's day in Delhi

A teenaged girl was found dead in mysterious circumstances in a posh south-west Delhi locality on New Year Day, police said today.

The body of Jennifer (15) was discovered in Dwarka Sector 14 last night, a senior police official said.

She was residing with her brother in the servants quarters of Lady Hardinge Hospital.

"Jennifer had left her house yesterday morning and her body was found late night," the official said.

A case of murder has been registered and the body has been sent for post mortem.

The official said they were awaiting post mortem report for ascertaining the exact cause of death. "We are probing all angles," he added.
