Four minor boys rescued from militants in Jammu and Kashmir

On complaints of people that four boys, aged between 16-20, have been abducted by militants, troops of 26 Rashtriya Rifles launched a search operation in the Jawalapur forest belt in Kishtwar district.

Security forces have rescued four boys from the captivity of militants in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

On complaints of people that four boys, aged between 16-20, have been abducted by militants, troops of 26 Rashtriya Rifles launched a search operation in the Jawalapur forest belt in Kishtwar district last evening, they said.

The boys were rescued by the troops, while militants managed to escape from the spot, they said.

The rescued boys have been identified as Liyaqat, Mushtaq, Zaffar and Hasham Din, they said, adding the boys have been handed over to their families after proper verification and completion of formalities.
