Four killed in mishaps in Assam

Four persons were killed on the spot and five others critically injured when two vehicles collided head-on in two separate mishaps in Assam today, police  said.
   
Three persons died on the spot and another was injured when a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) collided head-on with a speeding truck at Lampara in Kamrup (rural) district.
   
In another mishap, one person was killed and four others injured when the vehicle in which they were traveling collided with an oil tanker at Jakhalabanda in Nagaon district.
   
The injured have been shifted to Guwahati Medical College Hospital, sources added.
