Four kg of RDX recovered in Ramban, 2 militants held in Jammu

Security forces have recovered four kilograms of Research Developed Explosive (RDX) and other material from a militant hideout in Ramban district while police arrsted two militants of Hizbul Mujaheedin (HM) outfit in Jammu city, a police spokesman said here today.

On a tip off, security forces launched a search operation and busted a militant hideout at Tanka Top forest area in Banihal tehsil of Ramban district in Jammu region yesterday, he said.

The recoveries from the hideout included four kg of RDX, 30 meters of cordex wire and ten safety fuses, the spokesman said.

In another incident , police arrested two HM militants from Jammu city last night, he said, adding both of them hail from Handwara district of Kashmir valley.
