Four commit suicide in Lucknow

Four persons, including a teen-aged boy, committed suicide in different parts of the city during the past 24 hours, police said here on Saturday.
   
Mukhtar Hussain (36), who is involved in a road accident case, shot himself yesterday in Thakurganj area after he reportedly received a legal notice asking him to pay compensation to kin of those killed in the mishap a couple of years back, they said.

In another incident, Naimish Kumar (14) ended his life after allegedly being snubbed by his father over some petty issue in Madiyaon area, police said.

In Mohanlalganj, an employee with a plywood factory, Harendra Pratap (25), committed suicide at his residence last evening, police said, adding that the reason is unknown.

In a separate incident, 45-year-old Om Prakash killed himself by consuming poison in Kakori area last day, they said.
