Formal complaint against Nimith Joshi filed

Gujarat University professor, who was initially accused of sending the fake email, MV Rao, has filed an formal police complaint with the Detection of Crime Branch  (DCB) on Saturday accusing Nimith Joshi, a Canadian resident, of shooting the email to the girl.

In the complaint Rao has mentioned that Joshi was harassing the victim through email.

Deputy superintendent of police, DCB, Usha Rada talked to GU vice chancellor, Parimal Trivedi. Trivedi told media persons that the police have found that the email was shot from Canada and the accused was harassing the victim regularly.

Meanwhile, Trivedi received another mail on Saturday in which, it was stated that a PhD guide reportedly rapes his student. Sources said that this time the mail was sent by the victim herself revealing information about the ‘original’ sender of the mail.
