Flow of tourists to Puducherry on rise

With a few more days to go for the new year, the inflow of domestic and foreign tourists into Puducherry, a former French colony, has increased.

Hotels and guesthouses were full to their capacity. The long stretch of beach road, Goubert Avenue, is among the star attractions for the tourists.

The department of tourism has drawn up plans to hold its annual International Yoga Festival from January 4 for four days.
