A Singapore-Zurich flight made an unscheduled emergency landing at the Chennai airport today after a passenger developed labour pains, requiring immediate attention.
Airport officials said the Singapore Airlines flight was granted permission to land here at around 2pm after it was found that a Chinese woman needed urgent medical attention.
The 35-year-old woman was later rushed to a private hospital, they said.
