Five persons charred to death in Bihar

Five persons, including two children, were charred to death when fire broke out in their hut in Bihar's Banka/Aurangbad districts last night, police said.

A father, son and daughter were charred to death when a fire brokeout from a lantern in a thatched house at a village in Aurangabad district late last night, the police said.

Their bodies were handed over to their relatives after autopsy, the police said.

In a separate incident, a couple was roasted alive at Simaritika village when fire broke out in Banka district last night, they said.
