Two sacked employees of Shalby Hospital were so angry with the hospital authorities that they hacked the hospital's email account to keep online customers away from the institution. The hospital not only suffered economical losses but also was reportedly being defamed by the duo. On Thursday the Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) officials arrested them.

During the investigation police found that the hospital had sacked two employees Bhavin Sheth, a doctor, and his accomplice Himanshu Sharma. The two were sacked sometime back because of their alleged misbehaviour.

According to DCB officials, in order to take revenge for their sacking the duo started hacking the email of the hospital in which customers used to ask details about the services and facilities of the hospital. However, after hacking the email they started replying to these customers that the hospitals lacked facilities.

Some three months back officials of Shalby Hospital found that something was wrong with their emails and approached DCB officials with whom they lodged a complaint. During investigation, the police found out the pair's misdeeds. Police said that Sheth also had a blog in which he used to criticize the hospital for lack of facilities.

“The hospital was losing its online customers and it was being defamed as well. The authorities were not able to find it out. When we received the complaint we realised that it must be a handiwork of some insiders. When we came to know that two employees were recently sacked we started closing in on them and eventually we found the truth,” said an official.
