Fire in two cotton ginning factories in Yavatmal

Fire broke out in two cotton ginning factories here in Pandharkawda and Kalamb tehsil, officials said.

Both the mishaps occurred on Thursday causing damages at Sai Ginning factory near village Mukutben of Pandharkawda and Dayal cotton ginning factory on Kalamb-Ralegaon Road in Kalamb tehsil, they said.

Fire tenders were sent to Sai Ginning mill to put off the blaze while alert workers at Dayal factory managed to control the flames, officials said.

The cause of the fire is not known yet.
