Fake diesel manufacturing unit unearthed in Uttar Pradesh, case filed

A fake diesel manufacturing unit has been unearthed and a huge quantity of adulterated oil has been seized at Khatoli town in Muzaffarnagar, police said today.

A case has been registered against five persons, including a petrol pump owner identified as Deepak Bansal, under the Essential Commodities Act yesterday, district magistrate Santosh Kumar said today.

The accused are, however, absconding.
