Security forces and militants were engaged in a gun battle in a forest area in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir since early morning, police said in Jammu.
Acting on intelligence inputs about the presence of militants in Baji Mahal forest in Dharamsal, about 146 kms from Jammu, security forces assisted by police rushed to the area, they said.

There was no report of any casualty so far.
Four to five militants are believed to be trapped in the cordon laid by Rashtriya Rifle troops, army and police in the forest area, they said.
