Differently abled persons in Puducherry to get mobile phones

Puducherry Agriculture Minister M Chandrakasu today said Government had planned to provide mobile phones to differently abled persons in the union territory next month.

Distributing welfare assistance to differently abled persons here he said besides mobile phones the Government was also plannig to provide petrol allowance to motorised tricycles used by differently abled persons.

He also announced that a separate welfare board would be formed to provide speedy assistance to differently-abled persons.
