A debt-ridden youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a moving train at Sisamau area here, police said today.
25-year-old Jaspreet, who used to work at a relative's shop, jumped before a moving train at Ghumti railway crossing tracks yesterday after he failed to repay the loan borrowed for his cloth business, they said.
A suicide note recovered from his pocket stated that he took the extreme step as he was under stress over non-payment of the loan, police said.
