The death toll in yesterday's landmine explosion in Orissa's Koraput district mounted to 10 today with recovery of another body from the site of Maoist attack, police said today.

The body of constable Bibhisan Sahu was recovered at a distance from the attack site on Gobindpalli Ghat Road.

The police had yesterday confirmed death of nine personnel of the state's elite anti-Naxalite force Special Operation Group (SOG) in the landmine attack by Maoists but two more personnel had been missing.

After Bibhisan Sahu's body was found, only constable Chandrakant is missing now.

The incident is seen as a setback for security forces as it came ahead of the proposed special joint anti-Maoist operation in the state.

Of the eight injured SOG personnel, four were shifted to Vishakapatnam in Andhra Pradesh while the rest were admitted to nearby hospitals.
