The 75-year spiritual leader of Tibet will have a tight schedule in Kochi with programmes lined up during his one day visit, a release from Friends of Tibet, said here.

Kochi, the commercial capital of Kerala, is getting ready to welcome Dalai Lama, who will be making his first visit to the city on September 4.
The 75-year spiritual leader of Tibet will have a tight schedule in the city with programmes lined up during his one day visit, a release from Friends of Tibet, said here.
On Sept 4, he will deliver the inaugurl lecture at 'Beyond Conflict to Reconciliation: The Challenge of the 21st Century' organised by International Association for Religious Freedom at Catholic Renewal Center, here. The four-day seminar on religious freedom will have social and religious leaders from all over the world to attend, it said.
About 600 peace-makers from different parts of the globe are expected to take part in the Congress to discuss issues such as religion and human rights.
Lama would also give a private audience to Friends of Tibet and address a gather of its members.
Friends of Tibet would also organise an exhibition of historic photographs on Tibet and the Dalai Lama and artifacts from Tibet, the release said.
