The gang-rape of a teenage schoolgirl by three miscreants became the talk of the town in the diamond city on Friday.

Police commissioner Deepak Swaroop stated that the victim girl was in a compromising position with her tuition mate boy, while DCP (crime) Subhash Trivedi denied any such thing. “The victim was in a compromising position with the boy and they were spotted by the three miscreants who were moving in the car,” Swaroop said when questioned by reporters after the shocking gang-rape incident came to light early on Friday morning.

However, the case was detected and the three rapists were caught by the police in the afternoon. Talking to reporters, DCP Trivedi gave details of the operation and how the police cracked the case within a few hours. He, however, categorically denied that the they were in a compromising position, when questioned by reporters.
“This is not true. The boy and girl were only exchanging notes,” Trivedi said.
