Chilly winds brought down the temperature by almost two notches as Delhiites woke up to a misty morning today.

The minimum temperature dipped to 10.1 degrees Celsius as north-westerly winds swept through the national capital at a speed of 6-8 knots. Yesterday, the lower temperature recorded in the city was 11.6 C.

The Met office has forecast partly cloudy sky with the possibility of rain due to a western disturbance.

The low had touched a record 15 C on Tuesday, the highest for the past five years in February. However, the city witnessed heavy rains on Friday evening which brought the mercury down substantially.

The minimum and maximum temperature will hover around 11 and 24 degree Celsius respectively, the Met office said.
