Yadav accused the Congress-led UPA government at the centre for initiating CBI probe against politicians from opponent parties in several states.
Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav today accused Congress party of 'misusing' the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against its political opponents and said the Centre is slow in taking action against those involved in alleged corruption during Commonwealth Games run-up.
"The Congress government is misusing the CBI by opening old cases against the opposition leaders. This shows the double standard of the central government," Yadav said while addressing a rally organised by Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) here on 'Haryana Samman Divas'.

The former Uttar Pradesh chief minister claimed that there is 'nothing' to probe for the central agency in the disproportionate assets case against him.
Blaming the Congress for its slow action against people involved in alleged misappropriation of the Commonweath Games funds, Yadav termed the Games as 'embarrassment' to the nation and said "now the people will not want to have an international sport event in the future."
Meanwhile, speaking at the rally INLD chief Om Prakash Chautala accused Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda of politicising the brilliant show of state athletes in the last month's sporting event, saying the cash awards and gifts to medal winning players are not to honour them but it is for political gain.
The medal winners from Haryana were felicitated at a grand ceremony today Sonepat district. The chief minister Hooda today awarded Rs2 lakh to all participants from the state.
Players winning gold, silver and bronze medals were given Rs15 lakh, Rs10 lakh and Rs7 lakh each respectively with Maruti cars.
Chautala said: "The function exposes the true intention of the Congress government. Hooda's intention is not honour the sportpersons, but to take political mileage out it. If intention was to honour the players, then he should have held the function at his residence.
"The chief minister is quick to take the credit of great performance from the players."
He also highlighted the failure of the state government's power policy.
"The farmers and industries in the states are finding it difficult to sustain themselves. The power shortage has crippled the industry in Gurgaon and Rewari region. But the Congress government is giving power to Delhi at the cost of industries and farmer in the state."
The rally was also attended by Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu, who vowed to strengthen the third front.
