Accusing the BJP government in Uttarakhand of failing on all fronts, Congress today resolved to come back to power in the state assembly elections due early next year.

Addressing a delegate session of Congress here, state in-charge of party affairs Chaudhary Virendra Singh said the party would register a huge victory in the assembly elections and return to power in the hill state.

"We will repeat our show of 2009 in Uttarakhand," he said. Singh, however, asked the party delegates to stay united and said indiscipline would not be tolerated at any level.

Several scams like irregularities in allotment of hydel projects, Rishikesh housing scam are being unearthed during the regime of the BJP government, PCC President Yashpal Arya alleged.

The session was attended by Union minister Harish Rawat, MPs Vijay Bahuguna, Satpal Maharaj and Pradip Tamta, PCC president Yashpal Arya besides several MLAs and party office bearers.

The party also brought two political resolutions at the session.
