The Congress government is ready to face any no confidence motion in the event of it being moved by the Opposition in the Assembly, Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today said.

"Let them move the no confidence motion, we will come out successfully as our party MLAs are united to face it effectively," he told reporters at Kalikiri in his Pileru Assembly Constituency, 70 km from here.

Replying to a question, he said the party at an appropriate time would take action against "a few MLAs and other Congress leaders working with the YSR Congress led by YS Jaganmohan Reddy."

Jaganmohan Reddy had recently said his party would extend support to main Opposition TDP if it moves a no confidence motion against the ruling Congress.

In the 2014 elections too, the Congress would "win in the state and at the Centre too", Kiran Kumar said, winding up the two-day visit to his home town.

The chief minister, who later reached Tirumala near here for a night-halt, will offer worship to Lord Venkateswara at the hill temple on Monday, TTD sources said.
